What is the role of antioxidants in human sight?

I need to know whether the antioxidants can improve eye sight. If yes then how it works.
Antioxidants can protect your eyes from damage, but wouldn’t necessarily be expected to improve your eyesight. Certain antioxidants are believed to protect the retina and can be found in vitamins made specifically for eye health. The retina is very metabolically active tissue and free radicals are generated by that process. Antioxidants neutralize the free radicals and protect from damage. Antioxidants can also help protect the cornea and lens from damage due to sunlight. There are many eye diseases where oxidative damage is believed to play a part, even though it may not be the major cause. So a good analogy would be that sunscreen prevents a sunburn but will not cure one - the same with antioxidants - they can prevent eye damage but will not reverse it or improve your eyesight. Unless you are getting VERY low levels of vitamin A in your diet (which is rare in industrialized nations). This can give you problems with your eyesight that can be reversed by getting vitamin A, but do not take more than the RDA of vit. A - it can be toxic.
Is a tea or "antioxidant filled" retention enema for effective than drinking or a good combination with it?

Like, scientifically, is drinking just as good as the retention enema or is one better than the other or would they just be a good combination of the two?
Have you tried the green tea from Lipton it has antioxidant, personally I like just plain water.
where can ginseng plants be found at this time of year?

Me and my friend had seen how much you can sell ginseng for and we decided wed liek to look for some. We live in a very foresty area so chances are there might be some. Can anyone tell me where the general location of ginseng is?
Caroline is right, but alot of it is grown commercially in of all place but here in Canada, when I was young and we went to visit an Aunt out of town, we would drive by these fields with wooden covers on them, my mother told us they were mushrooms or the stuff they make aspirin with, years later after dating a girl who's family raised ginseng did I know what the really were.
It is a rizhome like ginger, strawberries and potatos, even grass is a rizhome. It is picked here and shipped back to Asia, mostly China and dried, some for 20 years and the sold back us here, I go to Chinatown in my city, Toronto ON and they sell pieces by the pound ranging from $6.00 C to $300 C for 1 pound of 20 yrs old aged ginseng, I worked with a European chef, claimed it was what kept him young he would buy a $15 piece and soak it in a bottle of brandy, had 1 shot before bed, he was in his late 50's when I knew him but he look no older than a 40 yr old man, I have tried different things but never got much out of it, like vitamins it works on some people not on others.
We produce almost 40% of the commercially raised ginseng in the world here in Canada.
What is a good eye cream to diminish crows feet? Is there one? And for dark circles?

I am 40 yrs. old and have tried just about every eye cream there is. Is there really one that will diminish crow's feet along with dark circles or sold separately?
Preparation H. Really. Try it. It is a formula that shrinks… well you know … but it works great for wrinkles and crows feet too.
What should a 21 year old use for small fine lines around the eyes?

Hi, I am a 21 year old female and I jus started noticing very small fine lines under the eyes. What can I use for this and for the prevention of others? I didn't know this started so young, I mean I'm still getting acne break outs! I'm a health nut, eat PERFECTLY and also drink loads of green tea, water, take fish oil pills, multi-vitamins, etc. What creams are good for this?
