What’s antioxidant protection against oxidative stress?

September 8th, 2009 | Posted by admin | Category: antioxidant2 Comments

Well my dad bought these capsules, and it says vitamin E : antioxidant protection against oxidative stress. He said it helps with stress or something because I have been really stressed about school and all that.

The question is, what will it do for me?
Will there be any side effects?
Should I take them? (I’m 13 )

Thanks

Hello KitKat
Oxidative stress is when cells get damaged within your body - this is common and the main reason for ageing, you will notice a lot of anti - aging creams contain anti - oxidents for this reason. An example of oxidative stress is when you cut an apple and it turns brown quickly due to exposure to oxygen but if you apply lemon juice (Vit C - another anti - oxident) it won’t go brown.
So - Vit E will help your skin cells but won’t do much for actual stress, the B vitamins are much better for this.
Try not to get stressed at school, try to sort out the problems whatever they are, school should be the best years of your life - you’ll get so much more stress in the working world!

How to reduce double chins and wrinkles?

September 8th, 2009 | Posted by admin | Category: wrinkles2 Comments

I am not so old but have a sagging chin. I am not over weight either. Do you have any suggestions for any exercises or diet regime I can follow to prevent wrinkles along my frown lines and reduce my double chin?

Wearing a day and night eye cream can really help with wrinkles, and you should see quite a difference.

I have heard of an exercise for double chins. You tilt your head back (not until it hurts) and slowly push your jaw outwards and back in. You can do this in your own time and it only needs to be done for a few minutes on a regular basis.

At the age of 17 can I use aveeno positivingly ageless?

September 8th, 2009 | Posted by admin | Category: ageless1 Comment

I just brought this product and I don’t know if I use it. I heard it’s better to protect your skin from aging now then later. Is it true? Should I use it?

Yes, you can use it. You are never to young to be preventative! My mom started using anti-aging products when she was young and doesn’t have one wrinkle now at 43.

When is the right time to start using anti aging cream?

September 8th, 2009 | Posted by admin | Category: anti-aging4 Comments

I am 27 years old, I have dry skin and dark circles under my eyes…
I already started to have lines on my forehead
when should I start to use anti aging cream and which ones should I buy?

You can start using them once you see wrinkles starting to show on your face. It helps to use them before it gets worse. It would be better if you can buy natural skin care products that works well for anti aging without all those harsh chemicals…

I would really like to know if any of you know of a lotion that is somewhat inexpensive :)
Roc Eye Cream is very good and also inexpensive.
You can find it at Target, Walgreens, etc.
