How can I fix the wrinkles in the upper thighs area of my jeans?

With most of my jeans, everything fits perfectly except the upper thigh/crotch area. There’s always a ripple on my inner thigh at the top of the jeans, and sometimes there’s a lot of extra space and wrinkles on the upper thigh right below the front pockets. I’m pretty thin, could it be that I’m wearing the wrong size? Everything else fits well, it’s just the upper thigh area. Any suggestions?
Try on different sizes and styles of jeans and see if that xorrects the problem…it really sounds like wrong sizing to me.
